Mission Statement
Fostering collaboration and cooperation among teachers of the country and of the region and also providing teachers with opportunities for growth. The professional development of teachers will in turn raise educational standards and improve student performance in schools.
ELTA has been active throughout Albania and has established links with counterparts in neighboring countries.
ELTA Objectives

to coordinate English language activities to reach all English teachers in Albania , in both public and private education.

to organize and motivate the participation of the English teachers for training seminars and workshops at home and abroad.

to support and protect the English teachers` rights, negotiating with the Ministry of Education, Educational Directorate, or Trade Unions.

to help English teachers with their work by supplying them with updating materials and subscriptions in “FORUM” magazine.

to initiate and organize national and international events and activities.

to establish links and work together with similar associations abroad.
